A Few Furniture Redo's
Well we are back from vacation, and I have been working on many projects to share with you guys. Here are a few I finished up this week, Enjoy!
I bought a little side table for cheap, It was lime green (ahh) so I redid it to match a little chair for my son. Now he has a space to do his crafts.
Here is the before. I bought a little laminate bookshelf for $5 bucks and gave it a huge transformation!
And here she is! Isnt she beautiful?? I did a few coats of white and distressed it a little. Then I added some stained wood to the back to make her really pop. I cant take credit for this idea, I had seen it on pinterest of course. Im not sure the blog, but it was a great idea that I had to try!

Coffee Table Redo
I have not been doing to many projects, were about to go on a little vacation so I have been taking it easy. I got this coffee table for $15 and couldn't pass up redoing it for the living room!
And here she is now. I love her! She is exactly what I was going for, I would love a round coffee table one day but for now she works great. I wanted a dark wood top, and a distressed rustic white bottom. I did a few coats of stain on the top, and painted the bottom white, then went over it with stain and distressed! Super easy, I made sure to do a top coat to protect it sense it will be used a lot! Heres a few more pictures:

Big Things Coming Soon!
So I have been doing a lot of think and talking with the husband, it so exciting to think about. Ready for the big news?? We have been thinking about opening me up an etsy, or another account to sell some of my work. I know I haven't shown much, I am posting below some samples. Forgive me if I am absent for a little while I am going to be busy getting some signs done for inventory but I will share with y'all as I finish them to see what every one thinks. I also need to work on getting my name and work out there to help my business be successful when it is launched so please speed the work and repin on interest to help! It has taken a lot to actually go through with this, its something I love but never thought I could do for a job if you know what I mean:)
I plan on doing mostly home signs, some outdoor ones ranging from flags, military related signs, lyrics, bible verses, and maybe a few furniture pieces. I am can't even describe the excitement I have to get started. I just want to say thank you to everyone who stops by and checks my page, I am so thankful for the support, it means the world!

DIY Earring Holder
Here is the earring holder I made today also, it did not take long and was super easy. Hope you guys like it!
First I started with a frame, I spray painted this one white.
Then I brushed some tan across it to make it look more distressed.
Next I cut out my chicken wire (I got over 2 feet for around $14 at Lowes) around the back of the frame.
I couldn't decide it I wanted to paint the back of the frame, or cover it in scrapbook paper or fabric. There are so many options, but I went ahead and painted it to be quick.
I started with white, then did a light layer of brown and blue.
The frame looked to white against the background so I gave it a sweep of dark brown and a light layer of some black. It gave the plastic frame a look of worn wood that I loved!
Then I used a flat head to push the chicken wire and the back into the picture frame.
Add your earrings and your done!
DIY Necklace Holder
Hey everyone, I have been working on so many projects to share with you guys. My main goal right now is to get some organization in my bathroom with my jewelry and bows and all for free or super cheap of course! Today I finished my necklace holder and I will show y'all how I made it. Enjoy!
First I spray painted some hooks I had. These are actually off the end of 2 curtain rods, the curtain wouldn't fit in my bedroom window with them on so I tossed them in my craft pile and knew exactly what I would use them for.
Next I decided to stain my wood instead of painting it. This is just an extra piece my husband cut for a different project and I had already sanded the edges.
Then I measured out where to place them so they were even, and screwed them in. I ended up added some tan to the hooks they were just to white for me, then I sanded them down a bit to let the black show through, added a hook in the back and Im done!
Earring holder and bow holder coming soon!

Motorcycle Photo Shoot
The other day my Husband and I got our little boy all ready and took him out and did some photos. It is so amazing to see him shine through pictures because he is such a shy kid. I am not a professional photographer by any means, maybe some day but for now it is something I enjoy doing just like my crafts! I wanted to share some of my favorite shots with you guys. Enjoy!
